my mind was blown, and i STUDY resistance history, intensely.
but so much happened, there's so much to know. what i know about the japanese resistance is limited-- extremely! but i know there have to be some mindblowing, tearjerking over-the-top stories about peoplein Japan, like the famous general "Yamamoto"(?) who didn't want to fight against the Americans of whom David Bowie is afraid...
anyway
In Germany the people who rejected Hitler
listened to what I would call, as a born U. S. citizen, "early jazz" or maybe "bop". They called it "swing"
artists included:
dizzy gillespie
thelonious monk...
my mind was BLOWN ESPECIALLY because...well, In America, people tend to close their minds. But Afircans are tribal, a tribal culture that goes back to the recorded birth of civilization. Looking at the pictures of young Dizzy and young thelonious, I was reminded of...a Tribe called Quest, as well as people who I know from the streets.
But the National Socialists wanted to put people who listened to swing in jail --- "to the showers".
for listening to music.
well,
that was my first post here. Back to the American fascist police state,
famous since 1776.
See ya on the streets...
